something interesting for winter?
Discussion
Hi all
I have a "summer car" (pristine DB7 Vantage) that is unlikely to be able to handle the winter weather.
I am considering changing my "normal" day to day car for something a little more interesting.
I want something that when fitted with some suitable tyres will handle the winter weather up here (central Scotland). Internal space is not an issue as there is usually only me in the car. Main road driving only. Luggage space not an issue either. Budget around £25k. Age not a big issue but probably something under 6 years old.
Everything I am looking at is so damn boring.
Any suggestions? Permanent 4wd would be nice but not critical. Definitely front wheel drive (which has ruled out most the motors I would consider "interesting")
What say ye?
Regards to all

How about a 2008/9 4.8i X5? Makes a nice noise, with decent tyres will happily cope with the weather / roads and is something a bit different (only a handful for sale - everyone wants diesel apparently..).
Spend the spare money on some winters for the DB7 so you can enjoy it when the sun comes out
