Big difference from Xenon to LED?
Discussion
Can any Porsche's be spec'ed with LED lights?
I have had loads of cars with xenon from Mini, a few Porsche and Audis and even an old Omega, and all were great, at the time.
Have had an A8 for just over a year with LED headlights, and it blows any other light setup apart I have had.
The standard headlight beam is comparable in distance with most full beams, and the auto fullbeam function lights up the road for a good few hundred foot, and shuts down on the part of the road of an approaching vehicle leaving the rest on.
Akin from going 6 volt to 12 volt in the '50's, a game changer!
Bring on the laser lights, due out soon.

LEDs are certainly available on the 911 range, if not other models.I have had loads of cars with xenon from Mini, a few Porsche and Audis and even an old Omega, and all were great, at the time.

I have them on my GT3 and they provide a tremendous light (and allegedly easier on the eyes for long distance driving). Having said that, I'm not sure that they justify the extra cost over Xenons given how good the standard set up is.

Me neither. There must be careful control on beam height?
Anyone have a pic of the 991 led lamp please?
