The 175,000 Service message is coming up despite the car being no where near that at the moment. The car has a service just before I bought it in July there and whilst yes she is 102,000 miles isn't this a bit early for warning? The service was done by a local garage where the previous owner lived. Is this normal this early?

Pretty sure it is age related i.e miles per year of age there is an explanation on how to reset it in the FAQ section

It says miles, but it means kms. wink

Just a little oddity associated with a car that was originally programmed in metric, and then converted to imperial. I think someone forgot to adjust a line of the code in the software.

The service reminders are in kilometres. First time it popped up on mine I thought the car had been clocked or something.

Just reset it and stick to the recommended intervals.

That's uncanny. I was going to post something very similar. Mines just popped up saying service due 105000 which is a good 40k more than the car has. I too had the "has it been clocked" fear haha

Damn! I should have said "Yes, they've both been clocked, but I'm willing to take the risk on either, if they are cheap enough." wink
