How much?

Just viewed a nice halcyon Atlantis coloured car. Very nice. The car has a few issues and I really need a view on how much things will cost to put right.. Is this a special paint as I haven't seen it before? Sounds expensive?

I haven't driven the car but the last service records should that the car has a clutch shudder and the tyres are 7 years old.

A front re spray required to repair the stone chips and lacquer to be replaced. The boot lid would welcome a re spray as there's lot of scratches on the lip.

Two wheel refurb.

Replace the dash as the veneer is damaged.

Otherwise the car is good. I may return to test drive the car on Tuesday evening.

I was refferring to the cost to put thing back in order. The car is a 98 4 off with 49k on the clock.

4 X Tyres approx £300 I guess
new clutch approx £700 fitted
new dash around £250 if you go for replacement wood
2 x wheel refurb approx £100 for the pair
front end repaint with boootlid around £1000 - £1500 - that colout is just a normal 2 stage pearl so the cost will only be slightly different than a conventional metallic

I'd allow around £2500 if you want it done right and asuming you are paying out to have jobs done by the pros

That looks like a wrap on the bonnet.

Matt's prices look spot on. However, I'd budget for around £450 - £500 for the veneer dash replacement.

That's not a wrap, that's paint de laminating from the bonnet, probably due to poor prep from a previous repair. We usually see it where there is a stone chip and then it starts to peel from there - especially if a jet wash gets anywhere near it!
Easily fixed though so as long as it's budgeted in then no problem.
