A wheel for lots of devices-are there any?

Hoping to build a cheap homemade cockpit type thing from wood(well,actually my son will be doing that,as he is studying furniturecraft,and that counts as furniture(sort of!);))
But I need a wheel/pedals/gearstick(optional) set to mount on it. Ideally I would like one that works with PC AND Xbone AND Xbox 360. Does such an animal exist? If not then a PC/Xbone combo will be best I think....what would be the best one(ideally sub £100!)

Fanatec do a wheel compatible with both, XBox and PS3, but it's out of budget. I think the cheapest is £250. You might find a used one, but there's a risk it won't work properly.

A Logitech wheel will be PS3 and PC comptible, but not XBox. Something to do with the way the Xbox handles USB peripherals.
