Very smart. Do you have any pics of how you modified the door? And, did you manage the get the motor wired up OK? Are they heated by the way?

I didn't take any photos of the holes I had to put in the door but easy done (or grind off the projections from the mirror body)

left them as simple as possible so have not wired up either the motor or the heating element.
