My local AD shifts a lot of Rolex and Tudors. I was in playing with the WG Pepsi and the DSSD Blue face last night when they said that the Tudor rep had hinted that Tudor are introducing some new movements in the coming months. Seemed to make quite a big deal of it, so if your thinking of a new Tudor it may be worth holding off.
BTW, that WG Pepsi is a thing of beauty!

Saw one yesterday in Newcastle , looks a fine watch but I couldn't tell the difference between white gold and stainless steel for looks , so until they do one in a stainless bracelet I'll hold off buying one.BTW, that WG Pepsi is a thing of beauty!

Isnt it equally possible that their supply of ETAs has dried up and that theyre moving to Sellitas?
I can't see it; ETA/Swatch agreed to continue supplying movements to 'historic customers' but it's worth thinking about certainly! There is certainly a certain smugness in supplying movements to the almighty Rolex...It makes more sense to fit Rolex movements; no Parachrom or other fancy stuff, less decoration and regulation, no COSC.

Looks like it was true. 70 hour power reserve, in-house movement, COSC...BTW, that WG Pepsi is a thing of beauty!

Tudor are way too dear, the movement, style makes zero difference. It has no brand name outside wis circles. Its a 1k watch like Tissot, Longines etc. Tag are a 1-2k watch. Breitling are 2-4k as are Omega for the most part. Rolex are for 4k+ watches.
Iwc , Lange, Jaeger, vacheron, hublot, patek and the rest are for wis types. That pretty much sums up the luxury watch market.
If someone wanted a Rolex they would buy a Rolex why buy a Tudor for 2/3 the money when you could either save up or buy used. Residuals are likely to be dire also.

Tudor residuals are dire that's a fact. How does an oyster princess sound for 300used . A lady datejust is going to be at least 5 times more.
Not necessarily true. I bought a Chronograph in 2004 for c. £1,000 new and have just sold it for £1,800.You may need to distinguish the current range from sought after models from the past - Chronograph and Sub being two obvious examples.
