As above.
I want to take up photography but don't have a camera, that is why I want you guys (photo pros) to help find me one.
Cheers.

Static cars? Just about do-able new. Something like the EOS-M (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2583178.htm) would give you DSLR quality without the bulk. The downside is the autofocus is slower, particularly for moving subjects.

If you want moving cars and track shots you are going to need a DSLR (or very high end mirrorless) and you won't get either of these new for £200. Just about do-able used though.

Another vote for the EOS M. Great value at Argos.

Nikon D3100 is only £40 more at Argos and will give you much better autofocus for moving subjects and a better choice of lens. Or as said go for a used DSLR.

There's a few deals floating around for new/refurb nikon d3200 dslrs. Can't really go wrong for around £200.
