Thinking of getting my Girlfriend's Dad these for Christmas for his Chim, has anyone on here had them at all? Be nice to know they fit ok etc.
I've compared the pic to the leven ones and the steering height adjuster looks long in this kit I think.

Yep, I bought a set and they fitted as they should although I didn't like the hand brake so I kept the original alloy one that was fitted. Easy to fit and in my opinion enhance the look over the big black plastic ones.

Yes I bought a set. Nice quality and IMHO value for money. Had to file out the lower bore of the handbrake handle as it was a tight fit over the handbrake lever.Easy to do. Make sure you quote your handbrake button diameter as there are two sizes.

I have also fitted these. Came with clear instructions and were straight forward to fit, very pleased with the quality and end result.

These turned up today, I've unpacked and had a quick look at the instructions and I'm a bit shocked to see that they say to saw off the old plastic stalks and just bolt these over the top of the stumps that are left behind - seems a bit rough I think.
Is this what your instructions said and what you guys below did?

Yep - hacksaw with care!
And mine (Griff) also needed the handbrake hole filing out as above. Decent kit though

Just checked the Leven website and looked at the ones fitted to my car and they have a hacksaw blade pictured as part of the kit, so guess that is the norm then hey.
I'll let him un wrap them, have Christmas dinner and then get cutting!

I'm probably at least as old as your g/f's dad, and would be thrilled to receive such a thoughtful present. Just be prepared for him to suggest he fits them himself and don't over-rule him. You have already scored the brownie points for thoughtful present of the year.

It is the best tool I have owned since I treated myself to a DeWalt 18 volt drill and impact gun set. Endless battery life, and the impact driver is the mutts, with adaptor and sleeved 19mm socket, for whipping wheels on and off at track days.
