Mercedes 300ce amg

One of these has become available, it's a 1993 with the amg kit. It's done 125k and has a full history, no rust and has 12 months ticket. It's also a car I've wanted for the best part of 10 years.
I have 3 problems though that I need to work through with your help if possible. The 1st is that it's up for £4k. No problem paying that but is it worth that amount being you can pick one up for a couple of grand without the amg kit?.
2nd is that it's 240 miles away and a 10-11 hour round trip and we all know that not everything is as described.
3rd is my car is not sold yet, and as it's a private seller that means no part ex. Wewantanycar will give me £3600 for it with fee's. Privately I'd get another grand or so. I need to get my head straight that it's worth the money to take less for my car and I need to be quick as there's not many of these around with the amg kit on and I much prefer them with it on.
What do you reckon ?

It's worth £4k if it's VERY nice. It isn't if it isn't.
The AMG kit is basically immaterial to the above. It isn't an AMG car, it's just plastic bits. Whether you prefer the car with or without won't really affect the market value, only the value to you.
If the car was a scrapper, the kit would have some value. As the car isn't a scrapper, its not really worth anything on the car.
