Anyone know where I can buy.....

Or...
What about buying some polystyrene chips from Office world/staples etc. Or... you could fill up the spaces with that expanding foam stuff you can buy in an aerosol from B&Q etc.
Without being nosey, what are you trying to post? Heavy stuff isn't so good for polystyrene, as it only deforms once - eg one drop or size 12 boot impact.
Nothings straightforward in this world y'know!

I took a look at a catalogue of 2000 items from www.aid-pack.co.uk and couldn't see an exact match. I'll keep an eye out for them, or I might even challenge my other half to see what she can do.
How many do you need?

In reply to what and how many.
The poly box needs to be a self contained as the items are perishable; so 'peanuts' won't be any use. Weight shouldn't be a problem, the contents should be around 3kg.
At present I need about 50, but likely to order more in the future. Ideally a sample to start with, just to check dimensions.
I can find suppliers in the States and Australia but I don't want to order a container load - just yet! If someone can find me a UK supplier then I'll gladly send them a bottle of champagne (or eqiv beer voucher). I've been searching for about 8 weeks now.
Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Go and visit your friendly local fishmonger. He should be able to fix you up!
I need new ones, not ones that smell of fish.![]()
PS: I have tried the local fishmonger, but they collect straight from the docks.
Ask your fishmonger to get some delivered from the dock empty! They cost pennies. Failing that nip down to the coast yourself.

Thanks Jane, but I've tried both those options already, in addition I need a to find a source for longer term. At the moment they will be used for some research, if all goes to plan they will be a regular purchase.
Thank for the suggestion though, greatly appreciated.
Did you ask the live fish places who their suppliers are??
