cheers Chris.

May use the ones in the garage - may not. If we dont, its worth selling them to offset the cost against any new ones.

Any good with photoshop? 16" TVR spiders ala tamora on the S?

Use Photoshop every day, for the last 5 years. 2 years as a job. I'll sort somthing out tomorrow and mail it to you.

Edited to add: It'll have to be in the eveingn as I start my new job tomorrow (finger crossed, haven't actually signed yet) and there's no internet in the office yet.

Hi Phil,

I went for Peugeot ET10 offset which fits perfectly on the S.

I tried a set of ET35 wheels but they didn't really fit very well, they sat way too far inside the arch and looked a bit daft without spacers. They needed very big spacers so I didn't bother with them and bought the current Wolfrace wheels.

Usually good deals to be had here.

cheers mate.

Would ideally like to get a certain mate to make up some converters for the hubs to accept 5 stud pattern. He has made his own for his Griff but not sure whether he will be arsed to make up another set from scratch. I like the idea of 16" spiders on it and be interested if chris can give us an idea using photoshop.

In hindsight I could have gone slightly bigger and put 18" wheels on as there is a fair bit of room on an S to accomodate them.

I find the car now corners better than on the standard rims because the tyres are a much lower profile. I didn't weigh the old or new wheels but the old standard wheels felt much heavier when changing them than the new ones do, so I must have also reduced the cars weight a fair bit.

No problems with ground clearance or wheel arches being rubbed away on corners Kentish?

No, none at all.

The wheels have low profile tyres to achieve the same rolling circumference as the standard wheels, the only difference is the tyre width as they are now eerrrr ...205's I think.

Oddly enough the standard wheels used to rub the front wheel arch liners when cornering hard left but the problem went away after fitting new wheels.

Sorry about the poor effort, but I've just started a new job today and I don't think the boss would be too impressed with me slacking off on my first day.

I actually prefer the Wolfrace ones as I have seen them in the metal. Spiders aren't my thing really.
