If this is Microsofts way of getting people to buy the Xbox One, they can stick it.

DDOS isn't exactly hacking. It's like sending someone 1,000,000 letters on one day. The postman just can't get them all through the door.

They are DDOS'ing. According to some nerds, to do the kind of attack they've launched would cost thousands of dollars in resources, Virgin Squad claim that they are being financed by "interested parties". Any "interested party" who would support a group that tweet bomb scares and landed themselves on the FBI radar must be pretty crooked, or stupid.
