Insurance for Europe

Hello folks,

I am about to leave Blighty for the Alps for 4 months (Switzerland) and then travel round Europe a bit on my way home so I am looking to insure my car for the best part of 6 months for travel throughout Europe...

Main countries for the first 4 months will be France, Switzerland and Austria.

Can anyone please advise on any companies which do this? Apart from Saga I am struggling to find one which will insure past 90 days...

Of the sheds, you've already identified the main one which is SAGA but LV will do 183 days as part of their regular package.

After that it's specialists, and not many of them, who will dry hump you on premiums but at least you know that up front.

Zurich and Aviva are both quite generous in their foreign use limits.

Thanks folks, LV are not cheap... of some reason they are about the same price on a diesel V50 as my M3 is at the moment. go figure! Still that is all a great help. Cheers
