Flat tyre after change - fixed itself?
Discussion
On Friday I had a local tyre place change my tyres over to winters that I already owned.
Visually checked, all fine. Drove home, thought the N/S rear was handling a bit odd at one point, but the roads were greasy, so looked it over again, seemed OK and thought nothing more of it. Saturday morning, completely flat tyre.
Reinflated it and it's stayed up, no drop in pressure. Moved the car a little so it's not sat on the same point, still OK.
Do I make myself late for work on Monday by taking it back in, or is there a fair chance it was just a bad seal/stuck valve/whatever that going flat & reinflation has resolved?

My MX-5 once had a "flat" tyre that I spotted once when parked up. thought I had a puncture as I found nails etc on the side of the road near where parked so pumped it up and watched it for a few days - nothing. Was fine for months afterwards until I sold it, never lost any more pressure than normal. The tyres were perhaps a couple of years old so maybe a sticking valve or something?
Once I pumped up a tyre and heard the valve hissing as soon as I took the pump off. I thought I'd need a new valve, but after putting a bit more air in it must have seated properly that time, and I never had any more trouble from it at all. If you're lucky, it could just be that the valve hadn't seated properly.
Valve did not seat properly first time round.
I very carefully checked and adjusted tyre pressures the eve of Euro travel.
The next morning I found a flat...
Took it to tyre repairer as soon as I arrived at destination, could find nothing wrong, re-inflated, still holding air to date, around 3 years later.

Yep, I've had the same.I very carefully checked and adjusted tyre pressures the eve of Euro travel.
