CV Help/Review for external company

I wonder if there is anyone that can help withy CV

I have worked for Rolls Royce PLC for 8 years and have only ever applied for jobs internally.

My cv was reviewed by my HR team and they tweaked it and said it was good but i want to apply for jobs to external companies and I'm afraid that only people within my existing company would only understand some of the CV.

Would there be anybody willing to help and give any pointers?
