mot emissions,can these be correct?
Discussion
Had my 03 mx5 moted yesterday, the emission results were
fast idle test co: <0.30%vol
0.00%vol pass
hc: < 200ppm vol
0ppm vol pass
lambda value: 0.950-1.030
1.066 fail
the 2nd fast idle test had identical results, i dont know enough to dispute the results but there seem to be a lot of
zeros, the natural idle test also scored 0.00%vol does this seem likely?

Not that unusual to read zeros on CO and HCs although usually it would be on a newer car than yours.
The high lambda reading would indicate a slightly weak mixture which could contribute to the low CO reading, very weak would also tend to increase the HCs but 1.066 isn't so far off and could also be caused by any leaks on the exhaust or on the test equipment.
