Porsche 911 996 c2s
Discussion
The right car with the right provinance and once purchased being looked after as it needs to be (bearing in mind it's still an expensive car just at a late stage in its life) then probably yes.
A cheap car with no history and in poor condition then no.
There are many threads re the 996 and 997 cars and engines which have a number of issues which can cost the price of a small car to put right.
Oh, there is no such car as a 996 C2S by the way

All the auto gearboxes are named "Tiptronic S" hence the confusion from advertisers either ignorant to the correct terms or deliberately trying to mislead. There is a Carrera 4S which has the turbo-style wide body and a full width reflector at the rear, these are 4 wheel drive and available as either manual or Tiptronic S.
