Can anyone confirm you deny whether the 997.2 uses a different TPMS sender to the 997.1. I only ask as I had my winter wheel tyre combo originally from my 997.1 fitted to my newly acquired 997.2 and the TPMS will not read. They worked fine when last used on my previous car in March this year. The TPMS works fine on the Summer tyres.
Any thoughts?

Hi Gary,
Pretty sure the sensors are the same..if you look at this website and scroll down to Porsche fitment (Huf/Beru are the Porsche OEM ones)
http://www.tpmsdirect.com/Huf_Beru_RDE001_TPMS_Sen...
As chap above also said go to your onboard computer and change the configuration from summer to winter and then wait..when I replaced all the sensors on my 997 Turbo it took around 30 minutes until the sensors were 'read' by the system...hope this helps

Have you updated the TPM in the multi function display? the system needs to 'learn' the new sensors.
Yes I have tried that several times. Bavarianx imply that they are different as they list Gen 1 & Gen 2 sensors, but it could just be a marketing technique.I'll try again with the learning and go for a longer drive
Thanks for the input
