Hi, I have a used set - 15k on them, OEM plenty of life left in them!
Long story (see my recent fisrt post!!) but Vaux said they could feel a slight judder under hard breaking - I tried to replicate and couldn't notice anything, but I think I read on here that even if you did have a slight judder a few hard stops cures it?! But i wasnt going to correct them (they were paying)!
Could send you pics if you want - based in Essex.
Cheers

I don't mean to hi-jack your post, but perhaps in asking my question I might also help with your problem.

My 05 Ro VXR 6.0 needs 4 new discs unfortunately. I've had a look on Monkfish's website and identified two types of discs for cars with standard brakes - DBA and EBC.

Which ones would be better? (notwithstanding suggestions that I should get APs!) hehe

I hate EBCs. GaryH cracked his EBCs in no time, and got no where with their claims dept.

DBAs are the choice of most on here, I think.

Oh, that's good to know!

The DBA ones look different to the OEM ones don't they? Anyone know how much the OEM ones go for these days?

This ^^ Huge saving on UK prices and perform exactly the same as the OEM discs.

Ive had mine on for a while now and cant complain at all and of course you save a small fortune buying them from Aus.

I had a little look through that VXRonline post, and I'm not sure where they're getting their UK prices from...

Monkfish have the DBA brakes at just a touch over £800 for the full set (for Monaro VXR with standard brakes), and from memory I'm sure I was quoted only a little more by VX for OEM ones...

Anyone know what they're referring to?
