All, Mr Tank is selling his entire Wedge collection including the racing SEAC. He posted this Monday on the TVRCC wedge forum. Collection will be advertised in New Year but he's open to offers now. Some real specials there so if you are looking then might be worth contacting him.

For sale only as a collection, or "might split"?

Unless he wants quick sales, if you assume that it will take him 12 months to find the right homes for that collection it probably doesn't make much difference. For example, how many series III 350i's have you seen?

Wow, quite saddened by this news.
First and foremost i hope its not health related decision as he has had his fair share of bad luck in that dept.

I know he upset a lot of people along the way, but he was a good guy to have in hand for knowledge and advice, and always good to be around on a one on one basis as far as i was concerned. (Different guy in the flesh than the well doc'd spats on here)

Who ever buys any one of those cars should get an honest deal.

Good luck

Ill have the SEAC racer and convert it to road use, With the odd track day .....smash

Although i'd settle for the SX but ditch the crappy ignition system, Especially with a rebuilt engine!...Mind you the Trident could be nice with an LS fitted....driving

That is surprising news... Hopefully not health related. Hmm...maybe I should buy my old 450 SEAC back.. 2 SEACs is not being greedy is it?

I've met Mr Tank a few times and although I got the impression he could be a bit prickly sometimes he always had time to chat and give sound advice about TVR's. Has he got a 400 in his collection ?

No. He states the following:

"If anybody is interested in any of the above please get in contact via the clubs message system.
I will be putting them all up for general sale as from the new year, either by private sale or the whole lot via auction.

The new and old spares will be done on a similar base's."

I assume you're joking as it genuinely would be sacrilege to convert one of the few TVR racers that actually achieved success into a roadcar. confused

Honestly....If it were me i would sell the rest but keep the 450SEAC and the SEAC racer...keep the racer in mint working order and trailer that to shows and exhibitions..Christ it must cost a fortune getting all the collection to one place...Would hate to see the fuel bill alone!... And then theres the storage...Maintenance...Repair work..So on..blabla..I would use the 450SEAC as my toy....Ziga
