I am new to this site and would welcome some invaluable advise regarding your views on servicing.

I own a 2000 Boxster (2.7) which is due for its major service (48,000 miles altho' only 38,000 on the clock). I have used the Porsche centre in Guildford in the past but as the car is now 5 years old and I anticipate keeping it for at least a further 18 months, I am considering using a Porsche specialist (Camtune) to do the service at what I would guess would be a considerable cost saving.

Does anybody have any views on what effect, if any, a non OPC service history might have on a resale value in the future. Any views on Camtune?

I've only owned my 2.5 for about 6 months, but general concensus is; for servicing use an opc (as resale value will be lower if non-official porsche) and use specialist for everything else
hope this helps!
