Caravan satellite - no longer finding satellites

My dad has a LabGear 28208 Portable satellite kit which he uses in his caravan. He's had it for about 3 years and it's always worked fine but on his last trip back in September although he could locate what the box showed as being the correct Astra satellite, there were only foreign channels on it. From a bit of reading up I believe there was a change to the Astra satellites some time this year meaning the UK channels have moved which im guessing is probably the reason? The problem is with this box it seems to have preset satellites in the menu you have to select from, and whatever he's tried it won't find UK Freeview channels. Forgive me as I haven't yet seen this in person so I'm a little vague on exactly what's in the menu, but any ideas what I can try when he brings it over at the weekend?
