Having had quite a busy year being involved in the underground metal scene I thought I'd share my favourite (mostly) unsigned bands of the year.

Evil Scarecrow - These guys just keep getting better and their Saturday morning slot at Bloodstock to over 10,000 people with giant robots, exploding puppet-filled Marshall stacks, crab scuttling and robot dancing was nothing less than astounding.
