Strange phenomenon, but just wondering if anyone else has experienced a cold draft when turning!?!? Noticed it a few times now, even with the blowers on hot and fully up to temp, sometimes when I turn sharply I can feel a cool draft blow through the dash area(with the roof up)!

Never noticed this in my Spyder - but rarely drive with roof up. Do notice it though in my BMW -strange feeling as it seems to come from the side/back of the car! Ghost passengers ?

Perhaps its the roof down wind simulation option thats malfunctioning by blowing air when the roofs down when its supposed to do it only with the roof up.

Happens in most vehicles; I noticed it more in my van on cold days - swing off a dually round a sweeping exit and the the interior goes cold - assumed it's just air being centrifugally moved about (scientific description?!) same with the smell of fuel from the bikes in the back - no leaks but the same effect; the fuel vapours around the bike are moved around into the cabin like the cold air........

Yes. I think there must be flaps in the A/C system which divert air to mix warm/cool airstreams and give the precise temperature for the climate control system. When you turn a corner the forces on the flaps are enough to make them move a bit and cause the effect you mention.

In one of my cars if the fans are running quite quickly you can even hear a change in note at the same time.
