LED Retrofit Rear Lights
Discussion
Hi guys.
I have a 1996 Paseo that I plan to retrofit new style rear clusters to. I want to remain with the standard light cluster but modify it to house the new style LED lighting new cars come with.
I've found online you can buy LED strips to stick to the outside of the car in panel gaps etc, but how legal would it be if I were to fit them inside the cluster? I would be doing brake, fog, indicator and reverse.

You can buy LED bulbs that plug straight into the regular sockets. You shouldn't need to butcher a light unit to use LEDs I have a 1996 Paseo that I plan to retrofit new style rear clusters to.
