Copart in decline ?
Discussion
Formerly "Universal Salvage" - this firm majored on selling insurance related salvage. Crashed vehicles, stolen/recovered etc., etc.
Have bought several Cat Ds over the years and repaired/used them.
Of late they seem to have started auctioning rusted-out relics (as "Classics")that look as though they have been lying in a wet field for years. Most definitely NOT insurance-supplied.
Did you see the recent holy TR7?

Or the A40 ?

Its a USA company, seems car transplants and hills are aggressively chasing the salvage vehicle market, personly I would never buy salvage blind and won't waste my time looking at something that can't be bought on the day with a price .
The buying the odd bargain salvage car at a yard is long gone.
