Ok, given what I've seen the last few months on this forum not entirely unexpected. Yes it's more than originally advertised for, I remember only too well, but less than the dealer I had to buy it from was advertising it for when I lost out on the original sale. A genuine reason for this - not looking for profit - just cost.. ive waited for years to own a vixen and this is the most beautiful car I've owned.

it was advertised 21 mai 2014 for 9.750,-gbp

but then I don't know what the last owner repaired/did on the car?
when its still good its still worth it, its who buys it first...
and what the new owner does with it thats to the owner I guess.

Thanks for being up front. I'm a bit lost with the inns and outs there but if it's so sorted why sell?

I have a knee problem that's going to make driving it difficult, as much as I'd like to I can't justify just looking at it.

Fair enough - what's the Alfa engine like? Any idea of HP?

The Alfa 1750 is a peach of an engine. Reliable, four carbs, dohc and AR claimed 122 hp in the days.

I am a serial classic AR owner and the 1750 is considered by many as THE Nord to have, me included - the balance between the revvy 1600 and torquey 2000.

As mentioned below, yes i imagine it's in the region of 120hp. I had a 1600m a few years ago, and the alfa is definitely less revvy and quicker. I have what looks like some rolling road stats in the history file, though it doesn't mean much to me:
