Anyone else hear about this ? Articural are due to Auction the ex Delon car, complete with it's gorgeous yellow headlamp and spot lamps. It was recently unearthed in France, amongst a collection of other exotics after the wealthy owners death some years ago.

Just How much the Delon connection will add to it's value is anyone's guess, but in France he is obviously an icon.

The Delon connection won't add anything to the value and pretty sure the car won't get snapped up by a Frenchman!

If you Google it, there are several on line articles about it.

That's impossible to quantify, especially for such a unique sale as this. Delon isn't exactly a Steve McQueen, and it would take two very wealthy Delon fanatics, if such a thing even exists, for that to make a difference to the final price. Most other people would just ask 'Alain who?'. This car will be better known for being rediscovered in a barn behind a French chateau than for the Delon connection.

In France, Delon is certainly highly thought of. If Porfirio Ruirosas example had / has survived his fatal accident in Paris, it wouldn't have the same value.
