Anyone used these guys before? I am looking at Rolex Daytona SS white face $1500.00 water proof etc quite convincing...

I already have a genuine Brietling World & Rolex Datejust and don't want to spend big bucks again so may go down this route...

If I were you I'd be putting my tin hat on and getting down to the bottom of the trench about now.

Hmmm. There's cheerful harmless (can spot them a mile off) fake and then there's built to deceive (ie: fraudulent) fake.

I'm in the minority here in not really being worried about the first kind but, if their claims are real, then these deserve to be shut down asap - and probably will be.

That is a decent budget. Maybe you would get more pleasure from something genuine like a Longines Hydroconquest Chrono.

$1500 is an insane amount of money to spend on a fake regardless of how good a copy it might be.

That budget would get you a genuine decent Chrono from a reputable brand as suggested in the post above. Go second hand and your choice widens further.

Why would you - really?

It never fails to amaze me that there is a never ending procession of people willing to accept inferior knock offs.

You would think that we had better aspirations.

I suppose it takes a special form of inferiority complex to be willing to go down this route.

We can all appreciate great works of art - even if we cannot afford them. It doesn't mean we will plonk a knock off of the Venus De Milo on our front lawn.

Just so we know you're not buying the fake because you can't afford a real one hehe Must be to impress the girls then. wink

Sorry, I'm not answering the question - I'd be embarrassed to wear one.

Fake ste regardless of how good their marketing claims it to be.

Buy a Steinhart if you want the look. Or the real deal if you want the logo.

Give the money to charity and wear your datejust. You'll feel a lot better and people won't think you're Del Boy

I hope to own a Rolex before my Wedding day next year and am treating it as a "target" to hit, so a "replica" wouldn't do it for me as I would only be kidding myself. It looks convincing but you'll know it's not the real deal

I think that it would be extremely naive of you to expect a reseller of fake watches to be honest in their descriptions, or to really be the manufacturer!

If there really is a Swiss movement in any of their moody watches then I will eat my Arai. Get a grip man!

Valjoux 7750 my arse...

10 minutes doing a google search on this company will re-affirm that they are Chinese made, unreliable pieces of st.
A lot of very unhappy customers.

A fool and their money....

But.. At least they are truthful here...
"Why Solidswiss.cd?
The truth about Replica Watch Industry.
There are many different types of replica quality produced but there are mainly three types being sold on the Internet today.
There is nothing sadder than spotting a guy with a cheap, faded replica on his wrist"

Yes - because spotting a guy with an overpriced replica on his wrist is just a teeny weeny wee bit sad.

Watch the never ending stream of saddo's place their order....

Oh... and we mustn't forget that they have "Real Moissanite Diamonds" e.g. Not Diamonds.

So... in summary... Complete and utter arse gravy.

Isn't this the company that someone tried to sue after they got mercury poisoning from their genuine fake watch??

Edit - just checked and it was a similar but different company, and it wasn't the person that bought the fake but their children as the purchaser had died - from mercury poisoning...

The Daytona has the running seconds at 6 o'clock, Asian automatic chronograph movements have the running seconds at 9 o'clock.

To make a knock off Daytona, if they can be bothered, the running seconds is modified so it runs at 6 o'clock, it's completely unreliable and lasts 6 months tops. Most fake dealers online shy away from them.

There are no decent Daytona fakes.

Top price for one is 350 GBP.

I don't buy fake watches, I only know all this as I have an interest in fake watches and the trade of them. I subscribed a while back to a fake forum, it's quite interesting to read up what they get up to / how they deal.

Much like burger joint menu pictures. What you get doesn't look like the promise.
