Looks pretty fantastic, and happy to see it's clearly differentiated from the regular GT3.

The mechanical specification will be interesting as well; one would imagine they've gone properly hardcore given the move to the wide body on the 991 GT3 and the extra cooling they've felt was required.

That article suggests the old 4.0l is going in . Surely that's wrong ?

Right off to try and bribe my OPC .

If the 4.0 is to live on, what will that do to the crazy prices being asked for the 997 4.0?

Article is not right. 4.0 is correct but it's not the Mezger. Based on the 3.8 of the 991 GT3 ( which is itself unrelated to the more complex 3.8 Mezger in the 997.2RS.

Yes..I stated it badly. Would have loved a Mezger ( I think), though I say this without knowing how the new engine will perform.

Not quite.
When the launch pictures are released I'm sure it'll look a lot more striking, and nothing like a Cayman.

I've got my name down for one, but can't say the looks are doing much for me either. Shallow maybe, but it needs to feel good to look at as well as to drive!
