D70 - Installing Curves

Hi, have a D70 which I would like to install a custom curve to. How do you do it? And know that you have successfully done it? I have downloaded a curve from the web to help calibrate the pictures a little better. Have managed to use / apply the curve through nikon capture control, but i believe this is just applying the curve when I use tethered capture (when the camera is directly connected to the computer when its takes pictures). I would like the curve to be applied on the camera so I can download the pictures from the camera with the corrective curve already applied. Any ideas? (does this make sense?)

For anyones info that would like to install a curve onto their camera, if you have your camera set to USB PTP and then select the custom settings in optimise it will apply and install the curve setting from your computer to your camera.
