Chisel in radiator grill

Washed the OH's car this afternoon and noticed what looked like a rusty bolt sticking out the top row of the radiator grill. Gave it a wiggle to free it and pulled out a rusty chisel!

Can only assume that some toe rag was using it to try and open the bonnet and then break in to the car.

Sounds more like sabotage, I wouldn't have thought the bonnet would be the first port of call for breaking into a car!

Probably just fell off the back of a pickup or truck ahead, bounced about on the road, and she didn't notice hitting it.

Hope it didn't go through the radiator itself!

Sounds more likely - lucky it lodged in the grill rather than bouncing off the paint work or cracking the windscreen!
