Taking the plunge

Been looking for a Boxter 3.2s for a while now and still looking..Ive had many cars over the years and the Boxter ticks many boxes for me!
Some advice and potential pitfalls when buying would be appreciated,is now a good time to buy?

I've just bought a 2001 3.2s 3 weeks ago. spent ages looking, info on here and boxanet was invaluable, as the previous poster said, just spend plenty of time reading everthing you can, after a while it all seems overwhelming, and sometime conflicting comments, but a picture will emerge. good hunting

I have lovely 3.2S tiptronic c/w hard top (986) going up for sale shortly... I've had it about 4 1/2 years and it's been superb.. just make sure you don't buy one without good service history behind it....
