D70 Battery Pack?
Discussion
I've had a look at the Nikon UK web site and they only list one for the D100. Is there one for the D70 either from Nikon or "other" does any one know?
I mean one of these .......
Try looking here -----> www.europe-nikon.com/details.aspx?countryid=20&languageid=22&prodId=109&catId=92

That's a 'vertical grip', and at present Nikon don't make one for the D70. There are rumours, but that's all.
However, Harbourtronics are working on one:
www.harbortronics.com/news.htm but for the shutter release to work as normal (not IR) it seems that a camera modification is required - which will probably scupper any warranty. I believe the battery compartment doesn't have the necessary contacts for this feature - though whether Nikon have any tricks up their sleeve I don't know.
So you'll just have to sit and wait
