Just read the other thread and it seemed like an advanced deja vu.

No plates but hopefully a school run vehicle that will be there tomorrow morning if I recognise it (and they're stupid).

Also does any one know the legality of using CCTV from the community centre over the road?

No doubt the Data Protection Act will get a mention.Cameras everywhere but companies are reluctant to share information with the public.

Surely the first thing to do is inform the police? They will be able to request the footage from the community centre and possible other places too.

I informed 101 as soon as I was aware, and will be going to by nearest station shortly - it's a bit of a trek with no car!

Just hoping they are interested in doing something about it.

Yep, as someone else said, if you go direct to the CCTV owner, might be tricky, but if it's the Police acting in the prevention or detection of a crime, they can get it. Driving without due care and failure to stop at the scene of an accident would seem to cover it.

Unfortunately being a totally incompetent f$%^tard who shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel isn't yet on the statute book, but I live in hope...
