Very tempted Glenn, have not been out in the yellow beauty for weeks and suffering severe withdrawal symptoms. I’ve got about two more track dry track days before the rears need replacing so a wet one would not be a disaster.

See you there…

Ill be there...

Not sure which car to bring though.

If its dry Ill take the GT3.
If weather is really poor Ill take the Integra. New stupidly loud exhaust fitted, new strut brace, and lowering springs all on too. Manifold and decat going on Monday with Unichip fitting the following friday (damn too late).

Im bringing a friend who is a track-day virgin. He is taking his new STi scooby. He is cacking himself already.
See you there!

I hope your friends' STI goes round corners better then mine. Understeering darn thing. Have to stay on the brakes from turn in and past the apex to get the nose in and the arse out.

I'll be in a black Subaru with no plates (fresh import), probably understeering across the grass!

Alan,

If i didn't know better, with the amount of field ploughing you do, i'd say you must be a farmer !!

Ten spins = bottle of champagne!

I'm doing it as an exercise into braking later and deeper into corners!

The December day was excellent. Results: 4 spins (first off the track too)

Also to note was an almighty tank slapper all the way down the start/finish straight in front of the old pits. Arghhh. Saved it though (rather, car saved me), followed by a sudden brake free of the back end during the fast right hander before the long straight. At this point I decided to warm my tyres up some more

Yet another great day run by the RMA....

Perfect conditions other than a killer wind.

Good to see the usuals there.

Nice to meet your mate with the Teg, glenn.

Ive met him before on the Integra DC2 forum...small world. He has got some similar mods to mine.

Took me the whole morning to get my tyre pressures right. My knackered old continentals are atrocious, (just about given up on getting any Dunlop SSRs...they dont have the 225/40/18s apparently)
but by lunch I had just about got them setup well and

was having a great play with a Tuscan on slicks...

though we did both get black flagged, but we both put that down to being blinded by a low sun......not our fault.....obviously.

Discourteous drivers award has to goto the chap in the Aston Martin. He must have been blue colour blind.

Great day again.

Tiff sorry don't see you there earlier, must be that new goaty beard of yours

My mate Phil will be there on the 5th Mar, so you two can catch up on some integra stories then !!!

My tyres were a nightmare to get right, i was running on cups, and they were crap all day, bottom line is, they need warmer conditions, as the cold track temperature never allowed them to get sticky enough, something to remember for the future me thinks.

That guy in the Aston needed shooting IMHO, firstly, a car like that does not deserve to be abused in that way, and it certainly deserves a better driver !!

Did you see/hear the exhaust on the GT3 RS that was there ?, he had a Manthey exhaust on, and it sounded the B*****KS, i am getting some serious funds together for some Manthey work myself at the mo, and looking forward to getting them on track soon.

Hi All

I was at Bedford in the silver 993 Turbo. As always agreat day, I achieved a personal best with only one spin, probably not trying hard enough. Many thanks to Alan for the help in repairing my boost pipe.
