rear screen crack!!!

Just a note of warning from latest S experience, It was such a nice day up here just a little cold and so me thinks, top down day, unfurtunatley the cold weather has made the rear screen non flexible and as i lifted the targa top free of the front screen, CRACK, D'Oh D'Oh D'Oh and a small (thankfully) crack appeared So put roof back in postion and tightened all the struts and catches. had to go for an extra long drive to forget about it, oh well i'll look forward to the new screen and reconditioned roof in the summer.
Before i try it again i'll make sure i've throughly warmed the inside and particuly the screen.

Very good advice..thanks. I have been out a few times over the last few weeks in the cold, but kept the targa panels off (wrapped up..hat gloves etc!). I'll certainly bear it in mind though

If you keep the S in a garage with power, it's worth keeping an old hairdryer in there and playing it over the rear screen for a minute or so in cold weather before moving the rear hood section.
