Flood damage - advice regarding insurance claim

Hi, does anyone work in insurance or have experience of claiming for flood damage to their vehicle? Is there anything of which I should be aware if making a claim?

Write off might be CAT B for some reason.

It's a standard own damage claim. Should be straight forward with comp cover.

Tell the truth about how it happened (whatever that might be) on the claim form, and don't inflate the loss. If you've got Comp cover, shouldn't be any issues.
