So I've had my car for a while now. Some of you may know the car. I'll admit I don't know much about what's been done to it. This has been in the glovebox the whole time. I did download some instructions for it from somewhere but didn't read them. I've asked my passengers to watch what it says on the display from time to time. Do I need to do anything with it / leave it / please help!

I would suggest www.tuneyourengine.com as a start...

previous owner has had a wideband sensor installed in the exhaust system, used for tuning and mapping although if its been in there a while it may be past its best, some dont have a very long usable life. If you're not using it you could have it removed and have the bung for it in the exhaust covered up. Or just leave it where it is, shouldnt be doing any harm.

Definitely agree. The sensor will be fubar, but can be bought separately.

Will it just have one sensor on one side of the engine?

If so do you just assume the other side is doing the same?

Yep, just one underneath. I would think it will have an extra boss welded in to the exhaust. You should be able to follow the wring back.

Yep you would "assume" that afrs are the same for both banks. Some might log both with a sensor in each side.
