I've just chopped a 1p sized chunk out of my index finger on my right hand... It was held on by a little bit of skin so I stuck it back together with superglue and I'm now applying lots of germolene new skin over it in an attempt to make it hold together for practice tonight. We have a gig on New Years eve!
Bugger..
Unsurprisingly shoving neat superglue into flesh seems to hurt, but not as much as Germolene new skin does.. ouch..

I would strongly recommend seeking urgent medical assistance.
Not treating something like that properly could well result in the loss of the whole finger.
Thanks, I did consider it but the doctors will be rammed with people with real ailments. If I did not need to play I would have just strapped it up. I'll see how it is tonight then probably take the fake skin off and let it heal on it's own for a week. My sister in law is a senior casualty nurse, I'll see her over the next couple of days so I'll get her to take look. Not treating something like that properly could well result in the loss of the whole finger.
