Three years of T350T ownership and I think it's time for a change. I have set my heart on the car I've always wanted, a Vantage. Am I making a mistake? Having spent so much time and money loving it, it feels like a betrayal!!

I've tried selling mine twice in my 6 years of ownership.
Once about 3 years ago for a 1998 black 355 GTS Manual - that one I do regret but following the test drive my TVR jjyst felt so much more 'alive' I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Then I tried again start of last year, this time for an R8 and it just felt lacking soul compared to the TVR and again I bottled it (the V10 spider I also tried was a different kettle of fish but 30k more than my then 50k budget). Each time I had a confirmed buyer but theres something about these cars that gets under your skin.

My advice - really try a Vantage (4.7 at least) before you sell and then run the TVR back to back with it.

I'd be interested to see what either of you think of a Noble.

I can see the appeal of the Vantage, am only put off by a friend on mine who had a Griff, changed it for an Aston, and has sold it to by an LS Griff, and by my desire to do track days.

The Noble is one of the few cars with the presence of a TVR and eye watering performance to go with it, IMHO. (as a straight swap price wise for the T350T)

Having many friends with Nobles (2 of which are probably the most powerful in the UK) it certainly has the omg factors when you stick your foot down. Not as stylish as ours, but it does look mean. it doesn't have the sound, a different presence with the turbo, the interior is basic, but God can you mod it. Most are 500bhp+ up to 700bhp and 500 lbs is pretty standard on the modified ones. Most of the M12's are well over £30k now, towards 40k.

Here are a couple of my mates smile
