Smart Repair Peterborough / Stamford

just had a minor knock in a busy car park, looked worse but a bit of t-cut reveals 2 minor paint work blemishes, <3mm across and a small crease / dent (not really a dent but the bumper is showing a crease) of around 3 cm.

got the guys details but I suspect his excess will be greater than the cost of repair.

can anyone recommend a smart repairer in or around Peterborough who does paint and dents please?

Can't vouch for them as when I last lived in Stamford I rode around in a Raleigh Grifter. Left in 1982.

I assume this'll be run by the lad who I used to go to school with, son of the builder.

Before I saw the reply from Wildcat I was going to recommend Couzens. We have used them a couple of times for work on my wife's Golf (don't ask..) following a couple of scrapes. Good prices and good work - including one awkward one on the rear wheel arch - the end result is great.

Not the fastest so you you do need to chase sometimes.

thanks, I've used couzens before - they are fine but wasn't sure how they fair on smart repairs.

I shall pop along tomorrow. rather unfortunately it's my 2nd non fault accident in 3 months, after 20 years of nothing! so going down the insurance route is a bit of a no no for a minor scrape.

everytime I look at my car and think I should clean and polish it I seem to get wacked!
