30 Year Edition Ibiza

Hi guys, thought I would pop a post up of my new car.

It's a 30 year edition Ibiza, limited to I think 500. Only came in three colours, red, grey and beige. Its got xenons, black alloys, half leather/alcantara seats, tinted windows and a couple of other bits that a standard Ibiza hasn't got.

Any comments/thoughts appreciated!

What engine did you go for?

Only comes in the 1.4na petrol, so could do with more power considering it looks so sporty!

Will do me for now though, maybe when the warranty is up it'll receive some presents

I remember when the original one came out, they made a big deal about it having "system Porsche" engine, which was just a 1.5i 8v engine sort of a warm hatch.

Very nice, but was it more expensive than the fr with the xenon option added?

Don't know to be honest! The 30 Edition came as it is, no choice but to have xenons haha!

Should hold its value better than an FR really, obviously much more limited, so fingers crossed!

How much was it if you don't mind me asking? My local dealer are doing the fr 1.2tsi for £9995

Looks nice. Strange it doesn't come with a TSI engine though.

Looks good, I've had a 3dr Ibiza before - yours sounds like it has a good bit of kit on it.

Mine was the 1.2TSi, and although it was a great little engine, needing a new turbo in less than 11k miles didn't instil much confidence so I got rid before the end of the warranty. They gave me a 1.4n/a as a courtesy car and I thought it was an ok engine for a car that size, didn't find it too bad.

This was £11250, at the time my local dealership had the 1.4 Toca for £9995, but that doesn't look as nice, plus with how ever many thousands of them they're a bit common for my liking!

The FR 1.2TSI for £9995 sounds a good deal, probably having the rival the Fabia Black, which was another on our list but didn't feel as sporty or as nice a quality as the Ibiza.

It's never going to win any races but does a steady 48-49mpg so not too bad!
