Rarity of LHD cars

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone knows how much of a rarity an S2 LHD car is. I'm sure that the production numbers are pretty low. Trying to determine how much of a premium a LHD car would carry.

The asking prices of LHD cars in the US/Canada is a little crazy. There's an S2 in Canada for $27,500 right now. It's a lovely car, but for much, much less, you could have the best RHD car available. I drive a right-hooker, and to be honest I don't think a LHD car would be as interesting. There are no real negatives other than the resale market is very small. But for yourself to enjoy and deal with the selling issue one day when you get bored.

Expect to pay $10,000 more for a LHD S on this side of the Atlantic, and not much less of a premium on the continent.

I'm in communication with the seller in Canada. USD price is 22.5k. I'm pretty sure the LHD s1 that wirewheel offered not too long ago went for around 16k, but that needed work.

In Belgium, France and Germany, minimum 15.000 Euros for a nice example of a LHD S2. Extremely rare indeed.
