Seen those here in NZ - from your pic, what do the wires do ?

Are they fake or do little LEDS flash or something ??

I remember seeing a piss take on YouTube with a couple of so called scientists in white coats and goggles carrying out the maiden fire up of a plastic v8 kit using petrol, it was amusing to say the least..
My lads got a v8 built kit which he did a few years ago but stuck the exhaust manifolds on the wrong way round, bloody do-nut.
