Hi Chris, can't find any pics of your Tamora in that issue or either side. If you can find out the correct issue I will happily scan it for you and send the pics.

Cheers, Al.

Thank you for looking Al , James Agger told me my Tam was in that Sprint, but a tad unsure about the month, it was TMS' Tam for the first few months of it's 'life' (James used the Tam to go to Le Mans in 2002), and was apparently the first with the 18" alloys.

There is a small 30x50cm pic in James' article in the July issue of the car outside a cafe. Also in the May issue there is a pic of a line-up of four Tams outside TMSs showroom, if your reg ends in BKK the one on the left could be yours, but again its only a 100x33cm pic. By the time they are scanned and blown up I shouldn't think the quality will be up to much.

Yes, mine does end in BKK, (not for long though ),

That must be the issue James was talking about.

Thanks Al

I borrowed it for a day when it was TMS' demonstrator. We did a bit of a tour down to Gaydon (via the Fosse). That must've been early summer 2002?

Cool!!! It has been slightly 'upgraded' since then though, and is having the black bonnet trim and spoiler re sprayed body colour next month, along with new plates . Were you the guy I spoke to at Pistonfest about the Tam?

No, I bought it from an internet new car company,, the guy who had it before me changed jobs and bought a new M5, and used the Tam as part ex,, I got a pretty good deal for it, and it has since prooved VERY reliable and VERY strong in the engine dept.
James Agger does seem a very nice bloke, he has helped me a lot in delving into the early history of my Tam (making it sound ancient!!)

Chris

It was the one I got the 18inch Spiders on and we had some great shots taken in the Leicestershire countryside of your car.

"4 Mar 2002 18 inchers for Tamora We have it on good authority that 18" wheels are to be made available for the Tamora as an option. Initial problems with fouling of the arches have been sorted."

Pictures gone off PH now

Nubbin (in his first grillo Alloy one), Flasher (in his Lamborgini Orion Yellow), Apache (leaned on yours) and bugger can't remember his name he'll kill me - with the Blue one from Kings TVR.

That shot was in Sprint too if I recall.

Email - Flasher, Nubbin, Apache as they should have some pictures of BKK on their site - flasher may have some of it on Lemans campsite, Houx Annexe too 2002
