981 Porsche Boxster S - Capristo Exhaust

Hi All,

I am loving my new Boxster S and planning to upgrade to Capristo Exhauast soon.

Anyone experience with Capristos (or in fact any other valvetronic exhust systems) for Boxsters? What is it like to having one? What does it feel like?

I drive my Boxster daily (to work and from work, etc) so I am a little bit worried if the exhaust noise is overwhelming even in closed mode.

Do you know any good reputable company who can order and fit?

CYL, we currently have Capristo and love the system. Over the years I had Akrapovic and Cargraphic, and switched to Capristo for our recent 981. The build quality is exceptional and sounds amazing. It is a valved system with Urban, Sport and Race mode controlled via a remote fob. Yes, in race mode its loud. Too loud for the track (at leats at 98 or 104 db) but fine in Sport and Urban mode.

Final video is a lap of the Ring in race mode. My passenger (apologies for his language early on) has Ferrari F430 Scuderia, a great base line for epic car noise.

Mainly, full system (manifolds et al.) and BMC air filter.

Have a look at Armytrix. They do a valvetronic system and seem to be becoming more and more popular.
