Focus ST MK2 - How to disable alarm?

Hi all,

My alarm has been going off randomly for weeks driving me mad.

I've been told that water has got in to a sensor and has pretty much runied it. £100+ job to repair.

This time of the year it's something I don't really want to pay out on right now.

So for the time being, how can I go about just disabling the alarm (without taking it to a garage)?

Before I did anything else I would get the battery charged up / checked.
Over the years all my issues related to alarms have been down to weak batteries. The main car battery. It has happened with aftermarket alarms and factory fitted

Cheers, but the battery was replaced last week to no avail.

The garage now know what's causing the issue after hooking it up to the computer. I'm just no prepared to pay to have it done this time of the year given the price.

So I'm just after a quick temp fix of disabling the alarm for now.
