Yellowing protective film
Discussion
I have a 2010 lightning silver V8 roadster with protective film on the front, sides, rear arches and quarter bonnet (not Paintshield and on the car when purchased). This film appears to be yellowing with age and I'm starting to notice it more and more. Anyone else with experience of this and what to do? I removed film from the drivers side sill as it was scratched but even with hairdryer it was a right pain and I don't fancy attempting the larger panels
There is not much you can do. However the first thing I would try is using some of this:

If that doesn't lift it, then you will need to replace it. I have used Ventureshield for years without it yellowing, but also try Xpel and Suntek. These are the best three.

As above really. It's just the cheaper old tech film that dealers use. Some are still using cheap and nasty film on new cars too and it looks bad even freshly applied.
Get yourself up to paintshield and have them swap the film over for you. Or if you go someone more local, make sure it's a self healing film like suntek.
